Ok, last niight's result against SJ was painful. Fortunately, I fell asleep at half time; unfortunately, I woke up at the 90-minute mark.

I've seen all the teams in the Eastern Division play at least four times. Where do you think the Revs rank (based on current form) against the other teams in the division?

I think the Revs are better than Chicago, Columbus, and DC, and at least the equal of the Metros. I just wish the standings reflected this.

Are Bill Parcells always says, "You are what you are."

Right now, the Revos are a last place team.

Chicago will be weaker without Beasley, and the same for DC Utd without Convey.

I can see the Revos finishing as high as third.
Or they could stay right where they are now.

In a playoff series, they could beat any team from the mediocre Eastern Conference. But they have to get to the playoffs first, and that is no sure thing.

Where we think they should be, and where they are may be two completely different things.

Where they are is the only one that counts!

I voted for 2nd... just because of their record. A healthy Rev's squad could realistically have run away with this division. I think the Metro's have the talent, but they are on different pages. The Rev's have the talent, and are on the same page more of the time.

As i watched the Colorado and Columbus game yesterday I realized how bad those teams really are. I cant believe we didnt get better results against them. Hopefully now that we are getting back our core players, those results will come as we expected.

DC and Chicago will be solid, but I dont think they have the talent that the Rev's do.

Finally... BigFrank is right in that we are where we are: last.

Assuming we stay healthy, I dont see us staying there for long.

At the begining of the season I predicted the Revs would win it all. Then I found out Carlos Llamosa was out for the season so I changed my prediction to the Galaxy winning it all and the Revs winning the East. If evry1 was back (besides Carlos, let's just pretend he's gone and will never play again) I think they'd be the best team in the East.

We are currently last, and that's where we deserve to be right now...especially after last night. However, with Major Parity League Soccer, who knows where we'll finish.

One thing is for sure, nine years in this damn league, and this is the ninth year where we are grasping at bailing wire and chewing gum to keep the ship from sinking - to try to make the 8-teams-out-of-10 freakin' playoffs.

I wonder how many division titles we would have if the games were only 80 minutes long??

You can dream up all sorts of what-if scenarios, but the only thing that matters is our actual record. That being the case we are presently the last place team in the east and in the whole league. I certainly believe that we are capable of better, and hope to see that in the remainder of the season.
