hi, the careers of the players from the big Ajax teams of the late 90's is pretty well known. Seedorf, Davids, Bogarde, the De Boers, Klivert, Litmanen, Kanu, Overmars, the goalie (who's name escapes me just now...), Arnold Schulsen, Danny Blinde etc. But what ever happened to Finidi George. I know he went to Spain (Sevilla) but unlike his illustrious teammates, he seemed to fall off the sky. What happened to Dani, the striker who scored the dramatic goal vs. Atl. Madrid in the ECL? Another name, Wouters, the guy who started the sequence that resulted in Dani's goal (he either passed to ball to Dani or won the ball in midfield and caught Atl out of position before passing it to someone else). I think went to England. Great side, great era for Ajax.
Finidi went to England after his Spanish adventure, Ipswich Town I believe, who have bought out his contract so they could let him go this season. Dani is playing in Atletico Madrid now isn't he? Or he did. Meh, don't know. Isn't Wouters the assistant coach at Glasgow Rangers?
there are 2 Dani's so it gets confusing but I thought Ajax's Dani was playing in the lower divisions of Portugal now.
