Ray Clemence has died, age 72. No details yet. edit: Clemence was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2005. “After fighting so hard, for such a long time, he’s now at peace and in no more pain," his family said in a statement. "The family would like to say a huge thank you for the love and support he’s received over the years. He was loved so much by us all and will never be forgotten.” he was by far the best goalkeeper I've ever seen. our defence was so good he'd spend 98% of most game doing zero, but then pulled out amazing WC saves when needed. RIP Ray. one of the all-time greats.

yeah, can't really rate Ali in comparison due to time (not yet) served. but Reina isn't in the same league as Ray.
Peter Gulasci is currently in the process of ushering Man United out of the Champions League, RB Leipzig 3 - 0 Man United @ 74 minutes. It's Fergie time! Unfortunately in this case we are talking about the former Mrs. Prince Andrew.
Only Dejan Lovren could do this: pic.twitter.com/xEnwo4zuaJ— Watch LFC (@Watch_LFC) December 16, 2020
looks to me as much as the goalie's fault as Lovren's. heading it out looked more dangerous than chesting it.
We've got Klopp for what, another 3 seasons? Does Stevie stay there and try to start a little mini-dynasty and land the 'pool job when Jurgen leaves? Or does he leave after this season thinking needs success in a bigger league to put himself in the 'pool job? I'm sure he'll take into account the OGS and Lampard appointments and say a run of 3 or 4 league titles in Scotland should make him a shoo-in.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl said it was a "risk" to play Danny Ings after he suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat by Manchester City. The England striker missed six weeks after knee surgery in November and hobbled off after 40 minutes. Ings, who has scored six goals this season, was playing his fourth game in 13 days for the Saints.
