Seeing as how he hasn't gotten any playing time so far (unless I missed it), it doesn't seem like they saw him fitting into their 1st team plans (or else he was injured).

I think he was a rather speculative pick anyway given his desire or option to go to Europe.

They have a trialist who is getting playing time - Noble Okello, whose a 6'5" defensive mid. Maybe they seem him as a similar/better prospect?

Luis Caicedo seems to have fetched up in Houston. I don't even remember him leaving!

Yeah, I had some regret about letting him go. It was a long road back from his knee problems, but I always liked his fire.

May be a chance we'll see him on the field next week.

Wouldn't that be something if he ended up playing and burning us?

He spent 2 years back in Colombia regaining his fitness and form. Although I'd have preferred the injured version of him to what we ended up getting from Kaptoum and Maciel I don't think letting him move on was a bad choice

Good for him. Side note - I think this continued growth for the lower leagues is huge for the sport in our region. If you have the Revs at MLS level, and then you have Hartford and RI at USL-C, and then the region continues to grow in lower levels (USL League 1 initiatives in NH and ME, for example)...if you could have genuine success over a period of time with stable teams that can last and don't just set up shop and then fold a few years later...there could be some really exciting times ahead.

Coach and GM are two close-to-full-time jobs - hope he has a lot of help.

Pumped to go to these games! Would you know, have they straightened out their financial woes yet?

According to both Transfermarkt and Wikipedia, former Revolution CB Antonio Delamea has retired.

    He is 32 years old

Another mention of Inter Milan negotiating with Brugge - with price around 15M euros. Revs have a %10 sell-on stake.
