Maybe that explains the abrupt, mid-season retirement.

My thoughts exactly. With Guzan getting hurt, it seemed odd to just leave mid-season but this would make sense.

Well, they did bring in two new keepers (Gudino, Rios-Novo) after Guzan got hurt, so clearly they weren't impressed with Bobby's fill-in work.

... or maybe he kept them apprised on his plans and then they brought in cover? I don't claim to know, but it makes sense to be thinking about further career options as you get closer to the end of your playing career.

Good for him! Seriously. I hope he does well. Well enough that some other team will keep him.

Whats the scoop on Buksa? Is he hurt, on loan or just not making the bench?

The better he does, the better for the Revs, as we still own his rights.

Matt Turner won his Arsenal premiere, allowing just one goal (on a penalty) as Arsenal won on the road 2-1 vs FC Zurich (Europa League). He made two saves.

Adam Buksa saw about 18-20 minutes at the end of Lens v Troyes last night. I feel like that was his first appearance in a game for points with them. No real highlights. He showed some good hold up play IMHO.

Taken from the "MLS: News & Analysis" forum:

Former Revs keeper Ian Feuer played the Predator in the 2007 movie "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem"

That's crazy! He was really big ...

With Adin Brown's and Zenga's names around, former Revs keepers are making news all over. Wonder what Juergen Sommer is up to?

I didn’t know that Preston Burpo is goalkeeper coach for Austin FC.
