Who cares! The Revs are on a roll! Serna and Rooney did less than didly squat when they were here. They can stay wherever they are AFAIC. Want to revisit the 6 player deal from last year?

It's funny. All three Metros are gone. 1 of the Revs is gone, the other is in and out of the doghouse. The only one making a regular contribution is Brian Kamler. I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years...

    Er...Hernadez isn't making a regular contribution?
What team have you been watching?!

Two out of three certainly ain't bad.

Chrono is in the A-League with Charlotte, BTW.

Didn't mean to slight DH. He has contributed, but for good or bad(I think he's a much better midfielder then Cullen or Joseph), he's been relegated to being a part time player. Perhaps I should have put it that way instead...

My point was, the only one starting on a regular basis is Kamler. At the time of the thread, I might have taken him(barely) over an injury plagued Chrono, but that's it. The "name" guys have all run into problems.

We'll see how long your opinion of Joseph lags behind DH.

Joseph is the real deal, and I hear he has a 'consistent attitude'.

But, of course, if DH plays regularly, he'll have nothing to complain about.

    Chrono

Close, but no cigar. Chrono is in Charleston, with fellow former Revs Mark Watson, Jamar Beasley, Steve Klein, and John Wilson.

Not long, if he keeps getting better every game like he has been. He's about as good a ball winner as there is in MLS, and his passing is very good. He's just not confident enough yet to take guys on 1 v 1 on the dribble. No question he is already a very good DMF, though.

I don't think it's a matter of confidence, just common sense. With his physique, taking on players in midfield probably isn't a great option. In the middle of the field, he's pretty good at making sure the ball stays with the Revs, usually by using the wings as his safety valves. When he's gotten the ball in the final 3rd, he's made some pretty nice through balls.

Even closer, but still no cigar. Jamar is no longer with the Battery. I believe he's gone home to Indiana.

    Re: Beasley

He would be an interesting worst-case scenario on what can happen when kids come out on P-40 contracts. I wonder what his options are and what he can do with his life.

Of course, he can always go back to college, since P-40 contracts include a promise of tuition payment. I'm sure Jamar will find his way in life, be it in soccer or no.

Jamar is still in the A-League. He was transferred to the Indiana Blast. I assume it was because he wanted to play close to home. Either that or he wanted to play all his home games at Kuntz Stadium. :D
