remove the damn logos off the houston field! i saw the mexico vs venezuela (or was it bolivia) in houston and it had the grid lines, and the logos in the field AND IT WAS AN EMBARRASMENT! if they are not removed if means the gridy people at the us soccer federation and the fmf don't care about the fans. With all the money they will make from that game the people that own the stadium shouldnt even hesitate in making it look decent for a soccer game, but knowing the fmf and ussf they probably didnt even mention it.
The Mexico vs Boliva game was played in Dallas at the Dallas Cowboys stadium thus the football lines. The US vs Mexico game will be played in Houston.
Plus this is the first ever soccer game at Reliant. So any previous game is irrelevant. That being said, I would hope the Texans have done the field properly. Pointyball has been done for a good 5 months now.
Let's hope that the USSF has brought protection The Houston Texans are a classy organization. The field should be top flight. Yet the lines are the least to worry about. For some reason the USSF has decided that structured seating is not needed for the USA-Mexico rematch to be played deep in the heart of Texas. Structured seating defined as grouping everyone in green together for their enjoyment and safety and then placing everyone in Red, White and Blue together for our enjoyment and safety. I don't think that the English FA would place visiting German supporters mixed in with English supporters. Only the Chicago based USSF would be so ignorant of Texas culture! During Pre-Lib matches at Robertson there are enough fights between rival hinchas..imagine what could happen when spirited Texans and Mexies leave the stadium together after drinking it up and partying during a 2-2 battle!
Re: Let's hope that the USSF has brought protection Well if they tried to split the fans up some Mexies would sue alleging national origin discrimination or race discrimination.
"The Mexico vs Boliva game was played in Dallas at the Dallas Cowboys stadium thus the football lines. The US vs Mexico game will be played in Houston." THANK GOD! btw from what i saw the dallas stadium has fifa dimensions (can anyone confirm this) what about the houston stadium?
The stadium demensions are fifa compliant, but I don't know the details. As far as gridlines, I would doubt that any would be present. There hasn't been a football game in Reliant since December, and the grass field was covered up for about a month in Feb/March because the Rodeo was in town. I expect a nice, big all green grass field.
this thread is retarded, if your going to start a thread at least know what your talking about. i mean knowing what city your talking about isnt that hard, is it?
