As a lifelong Seahawks fan, I thought the game was just awesome!

    29-25. :)

The Golden State Warriors roared back from a 17-point deficit to win a nail-biter against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies. :D

Next up: the San Antonio Spurs come to town on ESPN HD on Wednesday.

Its pretty cool that the Seahawks won it all with a 38 year old rookie NFL coach in Mike Macdonald and an almost washed up former 49er backup QB in Sam Darnold.

It seems like either the NFL has become very weak, or those guys have become very good.

Darnold did lead the Vikings to a 14-3 season last year, so, consecutive 14-3 regular seasons suggests he has cast off the washed up label. Seahawks defense and special teams were the best in the league, and the offense was also pretty good. Darnold threw for over 4,000 yards, Smith-Njigba was the NFL leading receiver and Offensive Player of the Year. Kenneth Walker III was a 1,000 yard rusher, and their other back, Charbonnet, rushed for 730 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. Too bad we didn’t see more of that offense in the game.

The US women’s hockey team smoked Canada 5-0! There are 11 Badgers/ex-Badgers between those two teams. UW women’s hockey is off the hook!

Why did the Vikings let Darnold if he had a great year?

Well, also it was a one-year contract and they had already drafted JJ McCarthy, who they thought was their long-term solution. If they would have kept Darnold it was going to cost a lot on the free market. Plus, yes, he sucked / choked in their last couple of games.

He's a solid QB but let's face it, it was Seattle's D that was the difference for them. Those gaudy QB stats wouldn't be so gaudy if his defense didn't just keep handing the ball to him over and over. How many times did NE punt in the game. 30? (Exaggeration, but it seemed like it).

The Golden State Warriors lost to the visiting San Antonio Spurs. :(

Mmm… blini (particularly with sour cream, but also with salmon, herring, chopped egg, chopped green onion and melted butter, even if there was sadly no caviar this year)! :inlove:

I just had my annual McDonald's Shamrock Shake earlier today.

I’ll likely have at least one more on or near St. Patrick's Day next month.

    29-27. :(

Not even Kristaps Porziņģis’ long-awaited debut could help the Golden State Warriors from losing to the visiting Boston Celtics. :(

Next up: the current home stand concludes against the Denver Nuggets on ABC HD on Sunday.

I’m still so amped from the Quakes opening day win at midnight, I might just have to stay up all night to ensure I’m awake at 5 am for the Olympic men’s hockey final.
