    Sub-heading: "Niners Defense Bails Out Brock Purdy". He was terrible in the 1st half. I thought that Mac Jones's success might put the pressure on Purdy such that it gets in his head a little bit and he starts to press. Didn't see it much last week, but we sure saw it this week. Maybe the added pressure of playing for our fans at home. He's forcing too many passes in bad spots.

    Jim Kelly threw three picks in first half of a Monday Night Football game he went on to win (1991). Enroute to Hall of Fame.
