The 49ers' kicker Eddy Piñeiro who was signed in September 2025 to a one-year deal after waiving Jake Moody, who had struggled during the opening weeks of the season is having a heck of a year.

I felt bad for Moody when he was cut but I don't think anyone misses him.

 

We wouldn't have been in a position to win this game without Eddy "Money" Pineiro! What a difference a great kicker makes!

He sucked.

 

I can’t say - ostensibly he departed due to health issues - but in the years immediately prior to his departure he gutted the team through some brain-dead decisions (see Karlsson, Pavelsi, Vlasic, etc.) that left the team in a dire cap situation and dug us a deep whole Grier is still trying to dig out of.

 

How is it helpful the game is not on regular TV or even cable?
