Costco is carrying Will’s San Francisco Potato Salad again for the first time since I first couldn’t find it at Costco on New Year’s Eve 2019!*

Will’s has always been the perfect complement to Costco’s rotisserie chicken and/or rotisserie drumsticks…

… as well as to Costco’s St. Louis style ribs (which for whatever reason wasn’t there today).

Unlike the rotisserie chicken which Costco always has and the ribs which it has most of the time, Will’s Potato Salad seemed to always be an inconsistently seasonal thing at Costco… sometimes it would be in stock and sometimes it wouldn’t (in the latter case, we’d then have to settle for the potato salad from either Walmart or Safeway ). But from December 2019 until today, it seemed to have completely vanished from Costco altogether.

Now that it’s back, I know what I’ll be saving up for.

At the time I posted this last August, I still hadn’t been able to renew my Costco membership going on almost a year (I was there that day to eat at the food court but decided to cruise around the store beforehand). And for a few weeks afterward, the Will’s San Francisco Potato Salad seemed to be in stock in most other local Costco stores.

However, by the time I was finally able to renew my annual membership in November, there was no Will’s to be found anywhere anymore. I kept checking occasionally the last few months, to no avail (I did end up trying Reeser’s potato salad - while it was somewhat better than both Walmart’s and Safeway’s potato salads, it still wasn’t Will’s).

Anyway, today I ended up visiting Costco to check for something else. While what I initially searched for today wasn’t there, Will’s San Francisco Potato Salad was once again in stock!

Needless to say, I bought one container of it immediately, returned to my car, pulled out a plastic spoon from my backpack and had a few spoonfuls of Will’s potato salad for the first time since 2019 (and yes, it was as good as I remembered it)… oh happy day!

It was pretty good.

Vikings legendary defensive lineman Jim Marshall dies at age of 87

It is with great sadness that we report, Vikings legend and one of the NFL’s all time greats, Jim Marshall, has passed away.

He was 87 years old. RIP #70!!!! It’s an absolute shame he was never enshrined into the HOF while he was still alive.
