Every G-D Bay Area team seems to be in "rebuild" mode right now. The hurting is only going to get worse before it gets better. I watched very few Sharks games last year (in protest of Doug Wilson's braindead actions over the past four/five years that left us in a perpetual state of suckitude with massive, cap-busting contracts for non-performers) and although his decision to quit (ostensibly for his health) may improve our prospects, those asinine contracts are: It's almost as if he purposely screwed the pooch to hamstring his successors and make his run look better in contrast...
Or at least almost all of the Bay Area pro sports teams currently are. The Golden State Warriors went through a quasi-rebuilding period about 1-2 years ago in which the whole team except the remaining championship 3-4 players was overhauled, and it got them yet another championship win this year. However, I wonder what'll happen once those championship 3-4 players eventually retire (they're all currently in their 30's). The only other Bay Area pro sports team currently primed to win it all is the San Francisco 49ers. While most of that team is still potent (hopefully their running backs will all be healthy this season, which would certainly take a load off of WR Deebo Samuel), is second-year QB Trey Lance truly ready to lead the 49ers (or at least the offense)? I suppose that only time will tell. But yes, all of the other Bay Area pro sports teams are or should be in "rebuilding mode", though at least the San Jose Sharks have already chosen both their new GM and new head coach before their preseason has started so at least there's time for them to start the rebuilding at the proper time. The San Jose Earthquakes, on the other hand... Speaking of which, my guess is that the next Earthquakes head coach will be either Luchi Gonzalez or Ian Russell. How does each of their coaching differ from the other and which of the two would be more successful, especially considering John Fisher's notorious cheapskatedness? GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G

Nor random or gibberish, but I didn't know where else to put this. When things like this happen, we are all one soccer family. I'm sure that many in the Columbus Crew fanbase are mourning this terrible tragedy today. https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/07/us/gun-violence-ohio-shooting-issa-jeylani/index.html
I e had any number of cheeses - but never that! I can tell you that after three months here, if I never see another fried cheese curd it’ll be too soon!
Yes, we all know it's maybe the worst thing you can legally ingest next to cigarettes, but it is, indisputably, delicious. I expect that I will want my final meal to be a fried spam sandwich.
