And across the parking lot from it is Pizz'a Chicago which, besides having tasty Chicago-based pizzas and other dishes, has walls lined with Chicago-based memorabilia, particularly its sports teams... including Chicago Fire FC. :)

Since the G-men are 17.5 games out of first, I'm glad they're not owned by Fisher or else there'd be an exodus of all the good players for cash...

Not to mention both that the Giants are at least still in the Wild Card race and that their recent World Series winning period had disappointing in-between seasons that saw them bounce back the following season, which wouldn't have happened with Fisher-style fire sales.

I haven’t been a Cardinals fan in many years. I really only follow the Giants these days. I might check into the Cubs, but they’re 102 years from their next World Series!

How many good players can they have if they're barely at .500 and 17 games out of first place?

Don’t know - it’s not Sep yet so I’m not really paying attention to baseball…
