I agree, that a disaster waiting to happen.

Someone's pad would be good, I would offer up mine but its rather small. That and in my neighborhood I'd wind up with a bunch of random people knocking on my door.

    Think metro accessible otherwise.

robs house isnt metro accessable, I dont think..but from all acounts, the preseason party was fun, and it sounds like it would be very worthwhile to make the drive :)

Ok, I'll throw a tentative date for an improntu Happy Hour. How about Friday December 17th? As far as Metro accesible we could do Fado's or the Exchange downtown or Irelands Four Courts in Arlington. Suggestions on dates or locations are welcome....

lets do Fado or Pourhouse or someone who puts their $$$ behind soccer and DCU

why don't we plan on my house for the post/pre bash unless someone else steps up with a better location. someone's house is a lot closer to "tailgate" action than a bar

Is concensus that Robs house should be the place? Seems like it...

So all we really need to settle on now is a date...I agree w/ Rob that having it like the middle of January or later, it could double as a preseason party, since we get to play in INTERNATIONAL games again :D

I think we should all go out and find a house that we think would work well for the party. Post pictures here, then we'll all vote. Once we pick a winner, we'll all just show up and party. What are they gonna do? Arrest us all?

I nominate this house down by East Falls Church Metro stop. I'll go get a picture tomorrow. :)

All that's good and fine, but what about Happy Hour on the 17th? I'm thirsty, who's with me? :D

What hour is it that you want to be happy? Can we just be happy any hour on the 17th or are you going to dictate when we have to be happy?

I just got my membership info from Oscar, I'll be sending it in later this month (gotta make sure all the bills clear first!). If the party looks to be something I could make, are new members welcome?

HA! Being on the streets of any irish town at 12pm on a Friday will prove to you that that statement is, unfortunately, mistaken :D

Talking of Guinness. Someone asked me a question related to Ireland.

Can anyone tell me where there IS NOT a City that has either an Irish Bar or a McDonald's fast food joint??

Jeez a pretty damn hard one to call

Well, it's a little known fact, but Ireland is actually number three on the list of Guinness guzzling countries. England being first and the U.S. being second.

And Roachboy, you obviously don't understand my idea of a good time! :D
