it was intended as a list of the most popular clubs from each country,and LDU is not the most followed in ecuador,they are behind barcelona and emelec,for example. what is wrong here is that cerro porteño is by far more popular than olimpia in paraguay,and the same with botafogo and palmeiras over sao paulo and santos in brazil.santos is a small city with 400,000 inhabitants with just 3 clubs the sao paulo state has near 40,000,000 people divided mostly into corinthians and palmeiras
And Universitario is clearly more popular than Alianza in Peru. Something that non-Peruvians don't really see. Anyway, time for a new poll!
Por alguna razón, internacionalmente se cree que Alianza Lima es más popular, tal vez suena más por las últimas transferencias del tipo Pizarro, Farfán o Guerrero . En todo caso, no hay dudas que por estos lares es Universitario .
