I clicked on the Arsenal section and this ad comes up on top to get tickets for Arsenal games. I clicked on it to see what it was and they're asking 250 - 275 Pounds per ticket. Why is BigSoccer allowing adds like this. People should be able to get tickets at a fair price. Stop selling ad space to the Touts. It shows up right above post a new thread. There are far better option out there. Especially if you are an American. There are good resources available if you look around on the board or ask.
Agreed. And all UK based members will agree to this as well. Touting (selling tickets at over face value) is illegal in the UK. It leads to lots of problems for true fans and doesn't help situations like hooliganism. Hence its against the law?!!!!!
I agree Rick. I just hate seeing the ads show up on the top of the page. I guess it just pissed me off yesterday as it was the first time I noticed it. Maybe the guys who run this site need to select better advertisers and get them off of here. The sad thing is that I've heard from plenty of Americans who have paid 200 Pounds just to see a game at Highbury. I think people need to use the resources out there and do what I did by asking where to go and who to talk to. I hope that the Americans reading this will do that before supporting the Touts.
