Hes played in just 15% of our games but it feels like hes been responsible for at least 50% of the goals on the year. No matter the circumstances I would rather SH move Jackson back to Fullback rather than see Hall inserted into the game. Am I alone in this sentiment?

There were 2 players at the pep rally that got a luke-warm reception when they were introduced. Mr Hall and Mr Santos.

He had a good tackle in the box early in the Vancouver game. But his marking really seems to need work. If the coaching staff thinks he can be molded into an MLS-caliber player, and if he can't get enough minutes in the reserve league for whatever reason, perhaps they should consider a loan to a USL/NASL team.

Young kid not ready for prime time. Perfect reserve league type of player like Anthony Wallace. Will have to make significant improvements next year, but not a guy to log meaningful game minutes. I don't hate him because he is young and inexperienced. Maybe he improves greatly, maybe not. I remember way back when Shea sucked. Not the case now.

Plus, Hall really showed us what a bad ass Lloyd has become. With LLoyd out there the last game, we probably win.

He's 23.........not really young kid territory. And he'd played in over 50 MLS games before moving to FCD.

He's just not been that good for us. He was added for depth, just like Jack Stewart. If these guys have to start.............we're in trouble.

The difference between Hall and Stewart is that Stewart has had a net positive effect on the squad... if only just.

Hall on the other hand gets forward to send 1-2 nice crosses a game but for the other 88 minutes he's losing battles, marks, and apparently interest in playing well.

My guess is that he'll be playing in Montreal next year

He was pretty bad at NY too, he has decent pace but horrible, horrible technique.

The problem is he's making 125K, which puts his team under a lot of pressure to play him or move him. It's tough to stick such large salary in the reserve team, since any guy making less than him on the regular squad will feel like he deserves a raise.

Conversation between BigSoccer collective and myself:
    BigSoccer: Jeremy Hall sucks.
Me: Yeah, but he's young, give him a chance.
    BigSoccer: He's 23, that's not that young.
Me: Is he roster protected somehow?
    BigSoccer: Don't think so.
Me: He had that one good game.
BigSoccer: Pretty much negated by sucking in every other game.
Me: Well he's a back up, he's probably not that big a salary cap hit.
    BigSoccer: $125,000.00 USD.
Me: OK, I'm beginning to see your point.

Do you also put John in the draft?

You loose out on transfer $$ when/if happens but you also don't have to stay up at night worrying about losing him and the chemistry of the backline next mid season....

I was under the impression that he's out of contract and therefore no transfer money needs to be paid.

Not sure, but I think 2012 is the last year of the contract.

They may make the same face when they see his name!..I think he's ours unless the fo drops/trades him.

Im ok with that if he lives in the Hyndman household over the break. I just think he needs quality time with a good coach.
