What is his problem? My dad kept bragging about how good this guy was going to be, but I have yet to see or hear anything good from him. Is he not supposed to be a star??
he's injured..for the 2nd time this season, we will miss all this month's games. He's not playing at his best level cause when he plays he's bit nervous, probably due to his reputation of superb player, and best player of 2nd division last season..i'm sure that he will be a portuguese major start
Yeah, SLB has two promissing youngsters on the injured list - Carlitos and Mantorras. I know all Benfiquistas are putting a lot of hope into the these two.

A lot of time has passed since he was the "next big thing". Perhaps he will come back, but I agree, not with the same pedigree that made him one of the biggest young names around.
I have to agree with DvA. The injuries Mantorras has suffered has made him nothing more than a liability. It's time to give him a nice job within the organization working with the youth team. His football career is over and it's time to move on.
