Why has Bradley not played Addo. Last week he mentioned Arena and the argentine covering for Pope but no mention of Addo.

He would seem to me to be the best option given his experience and the metros current inexperience.

Maybe Bradley knows more then you and knows that Adoo isn't that good.

Then why is he on the team if he's number 4 on the depth chart?

It's very obvious that everyone who's number 4 on the depth chart should never be on a team.

Well don't you think someone should *ask* Bob about this, at least? Starting 2 rookies on the back line obviously didn't work last week. Addo seems to be the main alternative. Deserves a question - once Bradley answers it we'll all be in a better position to know if his judgement is sound or not.

    His name ain't God Bradley.

Whoah, and who are you to question a man who has led us on a massively successful start? Jeez, the rookies showed well in practice and deserved to start, or Addo didn't match up well against a speedy Josh Wolff. There are any number of reasons why he didn't start or hasn't played. We lost one game, some KC rookie scored a nice goal while Howard was too far off his line. Wollf tucks away another one. Oh yeah, and KC is a damn good side that plays well at home.....the sky is falling!! Question Bradley!! Fuera Bob.

I think you took my comments to be more forceful than intended...

All I'm saying is that I'd like to know what's up with Addo, and why he hasn't gotten on the field yet, and why he didn't even make the trip out to sit on the bench at KC when 2 defenders were out. Yes we've only lost one game but our defense is obviously in trouble without Pope and now without Timmy. This is the central problem with the team right now.

You may very well be correct, any one of your reasons would justify Bradley's decision. But all of those reasons are just pure speculation on your part. Why should anyone assume his every decision is correct without knowing any facts?

Just to be clear, I love Bob Bradley. He is the best thing to ever happen to Metro. But assuming that he is always right is just as unreasonable as assuming that he is always wrong.

If that's supposed to be sarcasm, no MLS team can afford to have 4 deep at any position, not with an 18-man roster. We should let him go and pick up even an inexpensive option at forward. With Moreno out, Clint gone, Woly suspended, where do we go? And we're carrying Addo who doesn't even make the trip when Pope goes out.

I think Addo took Balboa's spot on the bench.

I'd mentioned this on another thread before the KC game, but received no answer:

Did Addo ever get another contract, or is he just hanging around with the team. Could explain why he's not even in the equation.

Kind of like that character in "Office Space" who still has a desk, but someone forgot to tell him he was fired, and accounting still pays his salary.

Why ? cmonaco you been on this board long enough to know we are not supposed to question anything when it comes to the Metros or the personal attacks will start. Worst thing you can do is to apologize, just be yourself and ignore those that think they know it all.

During preseason, there were reports that Bradley appreciated the way Addo worked with the younger guys on the team. It seemed like this factor played a role in Addo making the final roster.

However, I too find it odd that he didn't even make the traveling squad for KC given the current state of our backline.

I'm also curious what Addo's status is, and if Bob sees him playing during this tough stretch. Hopefully one of the sportswriters will shed some light on this before Saturday's match.
