As a Crew fan (who is not trolling) I have to ask a question.
I see so much negativity here, but aren't the Metros 3-0-0 against NE, winning the last one without Mathis?
I realize Howard is out too but look at Columbus, we replaced Presthus who was our staring GK and replaced him with Jon Busch who was in the A-League last year and now he is 8-2-2 with a 1.02 GAA

My prediction is a Metros win 2-0 one by Faria and one by Diallo. Part of Twellman's success is ralston, and he won't be there.

Doesn't really matter to me who wins although I absolutely hate the Revs and Columbus beats Chicago sunday anyway.

So why all the bashing of your own team?

I think it has to do with having a team that loses so much at home. Imagine being a fan of a team that plays in a $hitty, unfriendly stadium that's hard to get to, and watching that team lose in that stadium two out of every three times. You would be negative too.

That said, the Metros fans on this board go overboard.

you'd be cranky too if you were homeless. even if we win we don't know were we will play the game... or has the league already decided to red card a couple of more guys so we don't have to worry about that anyway? but all that said we got a bus load of supporters going to New England! it will be 20,000 plus and it will be fun.we're gettin pumped already.

I know everyone loves Paul and his pants but if we are going to call up a keeper...I am all for putting this keeper as our #1. Paul is great but hasn't seen much action at all...one of these A-League guys hopefully Jeff would be a bit more seasoned and ready for action.

I am all for Paul being our number 2 but this is as serious of a match as you can get and the push might be to go with someone a bit more oiled then Paul.

No it doesn't. It says he likes these two clubs even if most supporters of one hate the other for a variety of important and no so important reasons. Why should a guy in Jersey need to buy into all that history if he just likes the two teams?

Come on, didn't you see his cat-like reflexes on Etcheverry's free kick?

It's not really bashing; more anxiety and frustration. If you flip back to the season previews, you see that there was a lot of expectations for this team. Balboa's injury, Mathis poor form and injury, the trade-all of these things have made for a bumpy ride this year. Throw in the playoff stadium saga.

It's an odd feeling. Gun to my head: we make the playoffs. But there is no sense of traction. It's like we are advancing in spite of ourselves.

Aww isn't that cute. I hear their jerseys have nice colors too. What's history anyway, and who needs it.

Tool. I think Soccernova needs volunteers.
