A few years back the metros played a song right before they played the 'ole ole ole'... a song they played over the season highlights to pump up said crowd. It was definitely a 70's song, completely instrumental with violins... totally sounds like a ELO song, but damned if i can find out what the name of the song is.

Does anyone have any idea of the song i'm talking about?

From the 70's? Does it have lyrics?

    Maybe Gary Glittler?

Don't know what song was played at Metros games but ELO did have a popular instrumental called "Fire on High".

OH YEAH! I remember the song...it was "Just Another Brick in the Wall" by Pink Floyd. They should start playing that before every home game before the "ole ole ole".
