made with little to no regard for defense or holding possession for possession's sake - factor everything in from the distribution of the keeper to the chemistry up front - this is not a best XI, this is a thrill-a-minute goal hunting XI (aka there is no wrong answer... unless you name adi aknibiyi that is) - oh and no 1-2-4-4's or playing zidane at RB and cafu in goal, use players in their positions please - here's mine:

    .............westerveld
    ........lucio............chivu
    cafu...........................roberto carlos
    ...............ballack
    ..overmars............kewell
    ................deco
    ..........vieri........henry

or as a 3-4-3 total offensive sellout!

    ..........westerveld
    thuram....lucio......lizerazu
    ............ballack
    .....zidane....van der vaart
    bergkamp.koller..raul

kleberson is a defensive minded player by trade...kind of an odd choice for an all out offensive team. id stick maybe davids in place of him...defensive, yes, but a great attacker and tons of energy.

You can't get more attacking than that.....

I don't know, if you replaced the withdrawn strikers in your team (Totti and Del Piero) with, say, Owen and Trezeguet I think we'd have it! :)

  7. Surely a team consisting of players like Vinny Jones,
Edmundo, Souness, Chopper Harris, Schumacher, Bremner etc would be the most attacking? They'd attack anyone.

    There ya go!

Of course, if he was still playing, I think Maradona would have been a better choice in goal, since we all know how effectively he can use his hands...

Obviously, and with the size of him now, he'd probably fill most of it.

I'd have Chilavert in goal, considering that he actually scores goals as a keeper. Thats pretty attack-minded if you ask me.

Extremely suspect defensively, but they'd score a lot of goals.

Why not just list next season's Real Madrid line up? Unless something else happens over the silly season, they seem to believe the best defense is a good offense.
