Read on the official site that Dunivant should be ready to play (don't if it will be a full 90 ... but still good news).
With Dayak still about two weeks away, what's our lineup now and later?

For now, I assume It's goose-Cochrane in the middle. Who plays on the wings?

When Beast comes back does he pair with Cochrance in the middle and slide Goose out wide?

Where do Hart and Waibel fit in? Ramirio?

What do you think will happen?

I think the Quakes need to play their mids more defensively, with the exception of L-Do. Our d is going to be giving us a lot of scares this season.

Saturday, I expect to see the D line-up as
Waibel - Cochrane- Agoos - Dunivant,

Hart will be playing right mid in place of Mullin
Ramiro will be playing center mid until Ekelund comes on for Dunivant

Assuming everyone is healthy and fit (except Robinson and Roner) I think we'll see
    Hart - Dayak - Agoos - Dunivant

With Waibel fighting Hart for the right back spot.

In the future (5 years) D could be
    Hart - Cochrane - Robinson - Dunivant

The future is so bright I gotta wear shades

Hart's been up & down, but, Man he got BURNED by just about everyone in a Canadian Jersey.

Made a few nice tackles, but...................

I like Cochrane. He's gonna' be good.

Waibel had a pretty bad miscue, but, all in all he's gotta' start. With Troy out, we need a tough presence back there.

Awesome to see Todd back...Hope it's for the rest of the season.

Off topic, I was happy to see Jamil finally apply pressure during a game. I've been down on him all season, but, he looked O.K. Saturday. Hope he heals quickly.

just a reminder,it was Cochrane that whiffed on a clearance 20 yards from the box that led to Waibelito's goal...

but I agree, Cochrane will be quality....

    Question: who's healthy?
Answer that and we STILL don't know who'll be starting.

If Dunnivant is ready to go 90 (or even a solid 70), I expect he'll start on the left. Then Agoos and Cochrane will be in the middle and Hart will be out wide.

Hart and Waibel seem to have played about the same in games - some good stuff, some mistakes, so I assume that the fact Hart has been starting recently has everything to do with practice. So, we get:
    ----------Conway
    Hart--Cochrane--Agoos--Dunnivnant

...If Dunnivant can't go, then Corrales could play there. (Unless Ekelund can't go, in which case Corrales will probably be in the mid-field and we could see Waibel and Hart out wide ... !!)

But WAIT! We're missing players galore. So, our midfield line-up will be shuffled, one of our mid-fielders will have to move up top to partner Ching, and ...

If Mullan partners Ching... If Russell partners Ching... If... If...

I have no idea what WILL happen. However, here's a possibility I actually like:

    ---------Alvarez--Ching
    Russell--Eke--Mulrooney--Mullan
    Corrales--Agoos--Cochrane--Hart
    -------------Conway

    * The "D" is what we've been throwing out there for several games. Understanding is key to good D, so this should help us be solid in the back.
    * Alvarez might be able to provide spark/creativity/unpredictability, and his relatively weak D won't hurt us if he's up top
    * If Alvarez isn't cutting it, we bring on Dunni for a few game minutes, move Corrales to left mid, and switch Russell (or Mullan - but I prefer Mullan on the wing) up top.
    * We could bring Tighe on for Eke late in the game. (Tighe is a mid-sub)
    * Waibel and Dunnivnat are available as a d-subs (and Todd should definitely get some game minutes! ...and if we have a lead, why not make a defensive sub or two towards the end of the game Dom?)

    On Cochrane.....

That's right, I forgot about that...Looked like it went off his toe then landed at the foot of the Canadian who took a shot....which deflected of Waibel..
