With Cletus, Jozy, and now Angel, where does Magee stand on this club? What can we get for him? Hell, is anyone even interested?

I'd say he's worth about a case of Yuengling Lager beer. No, no maybe only a six-pack. He'll wind up in the USL some place and we'll see him in an Open Cup game and he'll probably score against us.
Really, we'll prob. get a third or fourth round pick for him.

Oh wait, I am being informed that Magee may also be worth a bag of shake, stem, and seed.

Amigo, don't hold you breath for Cletus. Is true, he give us a good game Saturday, but, one good game in four years..... don't win championships

If Van der Berg get his residence papers before July we can look for something else, a SI central defense maybe, if not, we better keep him for a while....

Oh shut up already, please. Mathis has been one of our best players so far, get over it.

Where's St Ryma telling us his boy Magee will score 10 goals this year?

Magee is versitle and can play attacking mid, right mid and as a forward in a pinch.

He is a talented player when healthy, unfortunatly that has been few and far between the last couple seasons.

He costs us hardly anything in salary cap space.

My question is why would we want to get rid of him, he will be healthy soon and will add some good depth in the squad.

He's still young..keep him. Maybe he'll learn a thing or two from guys like Mathis, Reyna, and JPA.

    Also, FYI

Mike Magge is currently the longest tenured player on the squad, this is his 5th season in NY.

Hiding in shame over the photo that surfaced a few seasons back of Magee getting his bag grabbed by some guy. :D

For me I'd rather have Magee coming off the bench then Wolyniec. He can also come on in as a midfield sub. Definitely a solid guy to have on the bench.

 Why is everyone here so down on Wolyniec. I mean sure he's no Altidoe or Angel but he is the definition of super sub. How could you disrespect him so much to put him even below Magee. Wolyniec is awesome. This says all that I need to say http://youtube.com/watch?v=qPcr9ctulJg

I like Wolyniec, I just like Magee more :)

When was that goal... 2003? What have you done for me lately son? I can't remember the last game where Woly has come on and made a real valuable contribution.

My apologies to the Wolyniec fan club

see look at that stylish bed head. we need to work on marketing to the female demographic. Wolyniec's 50-year-old longshoreman's good looks are getting us nowwhere

Ship them both and pick up a solid central defender who can play 90+ without a mental breakdown. Seems like all of a sudden our attack isn't a big question anymore.
