All Ajax supporterwebsites have declared 'radio silence' towards the Ajax management, the police and other authorities...... example: www.ajaxshowtime.com In WWII there was usually radiosilence before a large offensive, is something big coming up? I have heard rumors about a supporters protest that is going to be organized, apparently it will be one of the largest, if not, THE largest protest in history of dutch football... Can you tell us more AFCA? I know there's radio silence about this subject, but i doubt the authorities are reading Bigsoccer .....c'mon the suspense is killing me
I don't know everything yet. A few things I do know but, authorities or not, I'm not telling The things I do know have to do with some inside stuff that's hardly interesting to people here anyway. Haven't talked to anyone in person for the last week as I'm working on school very hard. That's what I get for taking year long holidays I'm afraid When I'm done I'll get to the bottom of it.
well, the boys at www.ajax-usa.com don't know either, they are claimin they are not involved and can't get a clear answer either.... the only thing I can guess is perhaps the Wapenaar stories (particularlty the legal issues) may have something to do with it
No, the Wapenaar stories have nothing to do with this. It's all part of the game that's been played for years between clubs, police, citycouncils and supporters. Add to that a group of fans who are a bit upset with other fans who do not participate in this game but do get to sow the advantages of this groups activities in protesting, etc... and there you have it. A new road has been taken some while ago with the surprise protest in Zeist (KNVB) on a wednesday afternoon. Before that there were many actions based on pressure (easy for supporters with a 'bad' reputation) through indirect threats of disorder. For a while that has been enough to get what we wanted. With police and KNVB turning down talks with Ajax supporters this year there is no opion left but to keep quiet and surprise them. But it's a very complicated situation of discontent that has evolved over the years and has seen quite some protests and actions. It would take me a long time to explain all that here. And about the current events: you'll have to wait
Statement Beste Ajacieden, The past weeks 30 Ajax websites turned 'black'. The choice for radiosilence was intentional. Now we'll inform everyone about our motives. The past few years several supporters representatives have had a dialogue with Ajax about ideas and wishes among the supporters. Important subjects like the Arena needing to be an Ajaxstadium, the combi-policy, the presence of WWS inside the stadium, etc have been brought onto the table many times. After years of trying these representatives hardly see any improvement. Hiding behind 'policy' and all sorts of excuses; setting representatives up against each other; Ajax is taking a walk with his supporter. We will no longer accept that supporters aren't seen as a full (talk) partner by Ajax. To empower our demand we, supporters of all well-known sections and groups, have joined hands. Putting the sites on 'black' was used a signal towards Ajax, other authorities and all Ajacieden, and therefore not an action by itself. From now on there will be only one supporters asscociaton en we will make our own policy. Only this association will communicate with Ajax and other authorities. It's time Ajax starts to back his supporters. Our statements: Besides the players and the technical staff Ajax must prioritize it's supporters. Within the Ajax body it's a must for Ajax employees who have supporter-policy in their portfolio to be "supporters-minded". Contrary to the current employees Ed Lefeber and Michiel Menting A representative, chosen by supporters, must become an official Ajax member and take seating in the Ajax memberscouncil; so far this is only reserved for ex Ajacoids and celebrities. Ajax must ensure a drastic decrease in the amount of combi-travel The WWS security must move out of the Arena; no more excuses about this being an Arena decision. Ajax can pressure them. The non-commital character is gone forever as far as we're concerned. If the Ajax board will not take action now, we will take our own path from here on. Let it be clear, we are there for Ajax.... Ajax should be there for us too! Ajax-supporters f-side.nl, ajaxisvanons.nl, afca.tk, ajax2.tk, ajaxzaterdag.nl, ajaxjoden.tk, ajaxforever.tk, dapprestrijders.nl, deajacied.nl, ajaxf-side.nl, afamersfoort.nl, vak410.nl, tifosivak410.nl, ofa.nl, afamersfoort.nl, ajaxshowtime.com, foreverajax.nl, clubs.nl/community/default.asp?clubid=122022 (Ajax 428), home.wanadoo.nl/fredmjf/start.htm (F-side page), jewsfromthesouth.nl, 2superjoden.tk, ajax.netwerk.to, ajaxmokum.tk, geocities.com/replay1973 (Replay to Ajax), ultrasuid.nl, geocities.com/supershota/index.html (Ajax video page), supererik.com, ajaxarea.nl, ajaxenfrance.com, ajaxfanz.nl ------------- There will be or have been talks (I forgot ) with the Ajax board. I believe the statementn would follow after the talks, so I guess they didn't really work out. Anyway, John Jaake will probably wonder what the hell he got himself into. OTOH, he said he wants to be there for supporters. Now's his chance. But I don't think we'll get any useful support from Ajax. So we can probably expect another hectic season next season. Which is fine with me.
