I just watched Avatar 2 and I forgot how much Cameron stole the story of Native Americans and made them blue. It is wild how this concept is suppose to be new but it's not really.

You know what? YES!! That was a good movie but it was one tribe and I felt more respectful than this mish mash or pacific island and tribes that border large rivers and such.

 

I dunno, I thought it was pretty well understood when it came out that it was a parable of how renaissance Europeans interacted with Stone Age cultures when they met.

Well. It seems the NFL is going to make racism great again because the old boomer in the White House is bigly upset.

 

Just like with the moments and confederate flag, its about history and heritage. Never about the blatant racism.

 

For the nation this is bad because it is showing that we are making racism great again.
For me it is good because it will end any temptation to start again the 3 hour time suck of NFL football.

 

Redskins is uniquely offensive and racist among the Indian names. Defending THAT name is just O.D.D. We ain’t talking a Guardians/Indians situation here. Redskins is indefensible.

His last term started with chaos because he wasn't expected to win against Hillary and ended in chaos because "if I sweep COVID-19 under the rug, it'll go away."

Ya know, I *did* say something about part of the reason GWB won in 2004 was because he was able to recognize a huge thing and dealing with it instead of hoping it'd go away.

 

Ironically while DC's mayor is a big fan of a new Commanders stadium in DC, the idea is not so popular among residents. Trump's ultimatum may serve to kill the stadium that many don't want anyway.

 

WHERE ARE THE SECOND CLASS BILLIONAIRES? I mean, if we are going to defeat Trump and Miller and Bezos and Musk, we're going to need to go for quantity - we're gonna need the Harvard Alumni and the Josh Harrises of the world to band together and tell the world that Trump is a crappy businessman and bad for the economy.
