We are living dangerously. Another ref could've awarded 1 or 2 PK's against us at this point.

We need to get the ball back in our control and in their half. Come on!!!

    I like it! Original thought?

But what if you get injured in the process and have to come off?

Is Xhaka finally coming good for us? Or did I just jinx it?

I think that is how it is in hockey, of course it is typically a forward on a break who gets a penalty shot. If injured, then your sub would take it maybe? There’d have to be something for the guys who would act injured and then magically spring back 30 seconds later, like if you go off the field someone else takes it and you have to sit on the sidelines for five minutes or something.

I'd say the fouled player has to take it, unless they're subbed off for whatever reason. So like, if Mertesacker gets fouled for a penalty, and Wenger wants to sub him off rather than have him take it, that's fine. If he's hurt and you're out of subs, the team can pick another shooter, but the fouled/injured player must stay off the field for the remainder of the game.

Yeah he just let his man have a dangerous header that could've easily made it 3-2 aggregate.

Not as long as Atletico is in it.

I think we're the 2nd best team left though.

The draw is at 9am tomorrow I believe. Yeah I guess we should hope to avoid Atleti but whoever we face could probably be a stern test.

I’m becoming a bigger Elnenny (so? I’m drunk) fan. He has been very good as of late. Excellent positioning and work rate. No complaints at all. He has learned and improved.

Truly. I can’t understand the gushfest the media has over him. I’ve only seen him a few times and each time I’ve come away unimpressed.

He's just gotta stop trying to be Ramsey. There were a couple points where he and ramsey were up top.

Dortmund out, Lyon out. Means really it is us and Deathletico Madrid as the two big teams remaining.

There are no easy draws when it comes to Arsenal, but Atletico is a team we need to avoid. We could beat them in a one off game in the final, but over two legs it would be a nightmare.

Other than my interest in who we get, I'd like to see the 2 Red Bulls have to play each other!

Now the boys get a nice long rest before Stoke, except for those playing for their countries. Hopefully Deschamps isn't stupid enough to call up Kos.
