We would have placed better in the standings. I feel we have more quality players then Venezuela. I believe we are more technical then the ecuadorians, though they are more athletic.

With Hiddink, or any World Class coach, we would have won all our home games, or at least not lose any home games. Great coaches aren't just smart tactitians, but also motivational (something our team lacked).

Yeah Bro, our league sucks, but the talent we have in BOlivia is good. It's how these players are managed is the issue.

what makes you think platini wasnt motivational or inspiring..you clearly werent there on the sidelines or watching when bolivia scored a goal...

aaand we have ALWAYS been technical but that hasnt done much for us in the past or now including

I believe Platini had the right plan. I think most coaches that played in top tier teams know what needs to be done.

However, most fine players don't always become good coaches. On average, they don't do well at all. Implenting and planning is an issue.

We can only go by what was seen on the field. We won or tied some amazing games, and lost to some teams that we should have beaten. We were consistent with playing well against the tougher teams, and playing bad against the weaker teams.

I don't think Platini is a dumb ass. I think he simply lacked the experience to prepare his team and motivate. I can't guage on his ability to analyze, so I'm not going to comment on that, but his inexperience was what killed the nats in my opinion.

inexperience is all it was agreed.
but give him 5-10 years and ill gladly accept him back..
aaaaand also the fact that our star players dumb decisions to move out hurt out NT soooo bad( arce raldes even m3 lacked after a while due to lack of time at shaktar) and bad fitness moves(gaty abdon nacho ehh)

if we had that starting 11 we had v arg in la paz against uruguay/colombia..we would got at least 3 puntachos

    .............etch as a coach?

    http://www.eldeber.com.bo/2010/2010-03-24/vernotaahora.php?id=100323185810

Ministro de deportes? He backed the MAS representative for mayor of Santa Cruz yesterday.

Chico any idea why he's getting involved in politics, I really hope he goes back to futbol. Politicians of all sides are a bunch of lying dishonest scumbags. Poor Etch is already getting ripped in his own hometown for joining MAS.

For the record I don't to want turn this into a politics discussion so let's not even start (they're all scumbags). Let's just focus on Etch and futbol, I thought he was coaching a youth team of ACF. Does anyone know if his family moved back to SCZ or if he still plans on coaching in the near future.

This is the issue I have with MAS. I agree that Bolivia can only go forward with a Socialist type government, but nothing will work if you have uneducated people working with you.

And miss out on all the fun? NO BOY! U know u wrote that for my a$$ to read! LOL!

I have family in Santa Cruz. They hate EVo. Our conversations were very interesting. I like how they emphasized for the 4% of Bolivia that are extremely wealthy that MAY suffer with a socialist government. They don't seem to want to listen to what happens to over 70% of the country that will benefit. Government needs to do what's best for the majority. Apparently our literature % is at 83%, however the % of people that can read above the 5th grade level is barely 19%. Sad. Free Market economy will leave our camposinos in the dark with education, and will only benefit 4% of Bolivia. Free Market can only work with an EDUCATED society/population.

I can see MAS's strategy here. Maybe they are trying to simply reach out to important figures of Santa Cruz. Some of the people of Santa Cruz need to get off their high horse and get an education to fully understand the benefits of a Socialist government.

MOD NOTE: Let's keep the political opinions to minimun. I don't want to moderate political discussion here. Nobody wins and things can get quickly out of hand. Let's keep discussion strictly to futbol, gracias....

THey still can. Making a plan is the easy part; implementing it is a problem we have.

Implementation are not well thought out, or not realistic.
