I just learned that the MLS 2003 season will start on April 4th. That is a long wait. But how are we going to survive until then?. I will be doing the following offseason activities. 1- Will be watching a lot of EPL in FoxSportworld. 2- Will be following the differents Gold Cup qualifications faces. 3- Will be checking mlsnet, soccer365, dailysoccer, soccertimes, ussoccer,soccernet.com on a daily basis. 4- Will order the Soccer America magazine. 5- Will not follow indoor-soccer at all. 5- Will go to the movies a lot.
Watch paint dry AKA NFL... Just kidding. I'll probably start watching more games on FSW. Watch the Champions League on ESPN. Pay more attention to the Yanks Abroad, and USMNT. And watch the Knicks lose in the NBA.
you just learned that the season would start the 4th? where did you get that? and why would they start on a friday... I think you meant to say the 5th... In any case is this just a mixup on your part or were you yet another BS poster who "claims" to know all and have inside information that somehow never comes to fruit...
i'm gonna cryogenically freeze my head (a la ted williams) and then unfreeze myself on opening day because there is no cause for living in between then and now. in all seriousness. i am gonna do what ever i do normally. college, work, food, parties, football, etc. ask a stupid question...
-illini basketball season -check up on yanks abroad -find any and all information i can about mls player movements, in any direction -harass stupid people -continue to help try and build a loud cheering section for the us men's national team (along with many others)... SA is great to tailgate, but isn't so hot in game -continue to wonder who is going to be the fire's new coach -wonder what's going to happen with the expiring mls-usl deal -harass stupid people -soccer sim -the infamous mr. brown thread and other assorted ffa threads -keep preaching the gospel of u.s. pro soccer... scarf in one hand, flag in other -harass stupid people
I'll go to Germany in the interim. I'll watch Bundesliga matches and drink German beer. I think that will tide me over until MLS starts its new season.
Listen to all the hot rumors of which International Superstar is MetroStars flavor-of-the-month allocation...
- I will spend more time with my family and my girlfried. My girlfriend fells left out when I go to wach any MLS game. She goes once in a while, but she prefers being with me in a more private please.
Go to London once or (hopefully) twice to catch QPR, airfares at the moment make it criminal not to head over there at least once. Being a fan of English footy in the MLS offseason is pretty handy; after all they do more or less speak American.
I'm going to keep hypnotizing Nick Sack O' Sh***e into believing a Metros stadium announcement is 60 days away. Sachin
lol, me too. I also will be hearing Nick;s lies over and over, over stadium announcement. Also, the Burns are a "step" away from reaching a stadium agreement. I guess those things will keep us awake until April.
I just thought about another thing we should all do. Seat down in a bar and wait to see if Carlos Valderrama will announce his retirement. I think he should play one more season. He once stated that after he retires, he would like to become a coach.
I suppose if you have a little dick you have to improvise. Two coke cans stuck with gaffer tape should give her a treat though.
Champions League , EPL, Deutsche Bundesliga, Brazilian League, Argentina.........THANK GOD for Fox Sports World
