First WUSA match: Breakers v Courage Exhibition @ UNCG, it was either late 2000 or early 2001

First WNT match: January 12, 2002 USA v Mexico in Charleston, SC.

My first NT game...US/Ireland 9/4/99 we kicked their ass and Millie had 2 goals and an assist!

USWNT vs. Brazil the final game in the Nike Cup.

US won 4-2? Great match, also the last oficial game for Tony DiCicco to coach. Brandi and a 15 yearl old Brazilian player (Daniela?) almost got in a fist fight towards the end of the game.

 

My first WNT game was the semifinal between the US and Norway in the 1996 Olympics. Can't remember the exact day, somewhere around July 28 I think.

My first was game was July 21 or 22, 2001 at Spartan stadium between the CRays and the Freedom

 

My first WNT game was the opening game of the '99 WWC at Giants Stadium. What day was that??

My first WUSA game was the first WUSA game. What was that one? April 15th or something? 2001.

 

I went to my first USWNT game in October of 2002 - It was the game in North Carolina.

I am embarassed to say that I do not remember who the Freedom played in the first WUSA game I went to.

Both were awesome experiences though

First WUSA: July 8, 2001 CyberRays v Power
I drove with the fam down from Oly. My parents were going to a wedding in Oakland, by miracle I convinced them to take us to the game. CyberRays won 1-0, which pissed my sis off pretty badly.

First WNT: November 2, 2002 v Panama.

First USWNT game I attended was the '99 WWC final.

First WUSA game was the 2001 CyberRays home opener.

 

The first WNT game was the US v. Scotland game at CCS recently. My first WUSA game will likely be this year when the Beat visit Washington this, I believe, April.

 

USWNT game: November 2nd in Seattle v Panama.

WUSA: The All-Star game. Does that count?

 

First NWT game: 2002 Gold Cup game at Titan Stadium versus Trinidad & Tobago. It was nice to see the game in company of some BS stalwarts.

I have 3 different firsts for the WUSA:

1st time teams played against each other - the Spring Training games at ARCO the first year. Really nice to get to walk amongst and talk with players from all of the teams.

1st true preseason game, at El Paso when the Beat and Spirit started their rivalry. Almost got trampled after the game by some of the PTHers who were heading for the autograph tables.

1st real game, at Torero when the Charge opened the first season against the Spirit. Took my niece to her very first game - a 7pm start, great weather, a sold out crowd - too bad Philly had to spoil things by winning!

 

It does not get any better than that!
