if we still have the #1 pick come draft day and we select eskandarian and we also get nunez and we dont have a proven d-mid yet but we put someone in with some experience at that position because it needs to be filled the roster and starting XI will look something like this:

    Quaranta Nunez

    Etch
    Convey Olsen
    McKinley Kovalenko

    Petke Nelsen Reyes

    Rimando
    BENCH:
    curtis
    Q2
    namoff
    prideaux
    alegeria
    back-up GK

    RESERVES:
    college picks

i know must people will not agree with me on mckinley but notice i say because it needs to be filled. if there was another better choice at d-mid he would defintily start.
also has anyone heard about LA or Dallas wanting one of our allocations for stewart. and i've also been hearing about KC being "linked" with JMM
anyone know anything about those situations?

If we are going to speculate on what the roster is going to look like.
    How about this;
1rst move, The metro scum are inclined to trade for Josh Wolf. There for the scum have to trade Mathis. We trade Alecko for Clint Mathis. Our new starting Attacking Mid.
We draft 5th, 11th, 15th in the draft.
    5th pick, Rickardo Clark
    11th pick, Phil Salyer
    15th pick Doug Warren.
The rest of the draft is fairly pointless since none of the players are going to make the opening roster. But why not, we also draft Freddie Adu with one of our last picks in the draft, so that we will have assurance once he is ready for the MLS he will be on the Mighty DC United.
The next move we make is sign Nunez. If we can not sign Nunez then we sign Kucharski. The last move that we make is we sign Hirsto Stoichkov as a player coach which will make him cap affordable. This is my completed roster for 2003
    Goalie, Nick Rimando, Doug Warren
Defense, Ivan Mckinnley, Milton Reyes, Branden Predeax, Ryan Nelson, Mike Petke, Phil Salyer.
Midfield, Marco Etchevery, Ben Olsen, Bobby Convey, Ricardo Clark, Dema Kovelenko, Jose Alegria.
Forward, Clint Mathis, Santino Quaranta, (Cazary Kucharski or Nunez), Hirsto Stoichkov, Eliseo Quintella.

If we need to add another player for space, then we resign Bryan Namoff, and if nessesary we resign Ali Curtis.
This is my Vision for the future.

A lot of these players can play many different positions which will allow us to have a deep roster with a lot of talent.
The starting possibilities are almost endless since we have so many good players.

thats possible but with mathis and either nunez or kucharski there and all the others we would be right at the salary cap limiet but thats ok i guess with such an awesome roster.

As long as Stoichkov doesnt play i dont mind....

Also, If we do sign Alecko, but somehow are able to trade him for Mathis... I would prob cry... I would be surprised if he didnt add 20 assists in the season...
