I finally had it today. As someone who’s last intentional meat meal before quitting meat Was Johnnies on North Ave. in Elmwood Park, this wouldn’t compare. But I imagine a vegan would like it a lot. Was it good? Yes. Was it a beef? It’s been too long for me to know. Would I eat it again? I rarely go out of my way for fake meats (I have yet to try the Impossible Whopper or White Castle Sliders) so it won’t go on rotation but as long as I was somewhere I could wash my face after I wouldn’t say no. It’s messy, spicy, and probably not healthy.
