No money, corruption and the problem of being the team of a mafia run city.

So I'll be studying Abroad in London next semester. What team should I adopt and support? I'd prefer it be in London. I'll be staying Muswell Hill (North London), so I guess Spurs/Arsenal would make sense, but I wouldn't be against Fulham/Chelsea/West Ham either.

Any recommendations? Please don't reply unless you have a serious answer and a reason behind it.

    Thanks alot,

    Brian

Support Chelsea, because they have no fans and are dire need of support.

brentford. you can go every other week, and it won't cost you a fortune ... you can stand in the ealing road terrace ... meet some regulars ... become one yourself ... hit the pubs 'round griffin park ... get to some away matches with your new mates ... experience becoming a part of a football club, rather than a mere client to whom the recipients of your cash and affection condescend. the football won't be as good, of course; but much else will be immeasurebly better.

What division are Brentford in? Sounds appealing, actually ...

If I want to see acting I'll watch a movie. The Italian Serie A is a bore IMHO. The Bundesliga is the most intriguing and the EPL the most fluid.

The Bundesliga is the best league to watch in Europe, and has been for the last 3 years.

On the basis of you picking Liverpool Im going to say Hellas Verona for your Italian team.

La Liga is gash. I'd prefer to watch the Scottish Premier League, if I wanted to watch 2 good teams destroy 18 shit ones, which I don't.

As you can probably see I was being sarcastic. The fact that La Liga is in effect adding *three clasicos shows how desperate the league has become.

*Starting in 2012-13 there will be a best of 3 playoff between the top two regular season teams for the title.
