What sites do people use for MLS betting? I had used gamebookers in the past but happened to log on to my account today and found out they have been bought out. I was given the option of having my account transferred to betbug.com which just looks like it's a P2P site or to just get my money sent to me. Any thoughts on where to now set up shop? I liked gamebookers because I could bet on MLS, EPL, NBA, and NFL and they had absurdly low bet limits (I think the minimum bet was something like 10 cents) I never wager much money at all (I usually was only doing bets in the $1 to $5 range - just a little something to keep it interesting without risking enough money that I might anger the wife). Was fun to try and pick all 5 MLS games each week in a massive combo and then put $1 on it - wasn't quite as fun to watch one team screw everything up... Anyways, any thoughts on where I can find a similar site?
sportsinteraction.com I use them. The games usually only go up on the board on Friday though, so you have to make your decisions within 12-18 hours after seeing the initial lines.
i've been using bodog for a while now and been happy with them. decent selection of other leagues there too. now if i could only start winning more of these bets...
According to SportsbookReview.com, the sites that earned an A+ rating were Pinbet.com, BetCRIS.com, VIPSportsbook.com, TheGreek.com, BetWWTS.com, BetJamaica.com, Bet365.com, and Hollywood107.com. Some do MLS better than others, but you'll feel comfortable setting up an account with any of them. There were a few others that earned an A or A-. There are dozens of sites to avoid on their blacklist. I use Bet365.com. The MLS matches sometimes don't show up until Friday or early Saturday, but they give competitive lines and their payouts are instant.
I've been using Intertops.com for about 8 years...betting on MLS all of those years. Back in the early days, the lines were wild...they are a bit tighter now. I've never had a problem with intertops. A+ site to me.
magpie, im new to betting but like the various options from bet365.com. im not going to bet more than 30 bucks a week though. can you specify the charges im going to use a bank account. there has never been any problems has there.
You mean charges for transferring your money from your checking account to your wagering account? As you might have read elsewhere, Neteller is the most popular and secure method for transfer funds. PM me if you need specific help. Bet365 and Neteller do not charge for their instant transfers between accounts or whatever they call them (I forget). If you get a Neteller ATM card (which makes withdrawals fast and easy if you want cash instead of money in your checking) there is a modest fee per month of a couple of bucks if you keep a balance. Of course, there's no need to keep a balance in your Neteller account though. You just use it as a middle man between your checking and wagering accounts. I usually keep a couple hundred bucks in my Bet365 account to "play with" during the season. If I have a good payout (rarely), I can transfer the winnings to checking via Neteller. No charges for doing so.
I also use bet365, the payout is the quickest i've found. The downside is you have to get them to wire the money to your bank if you want to withdraw funds. But that's quick too ( a few days) and it's free once every 4 weeks. If you don't bet alot it's great!
Oh yeah. I'm kind of old fashioned, couldn't be bothered to setup something like that...besides, i don't bet that much and i withdraw even less
I use WorldCupX.com to bet on the teams or players that I believe will make a great deal on the game. It's a facebook connect game and I can socialize with other players there. more personalise than any other worldcup games, which I find rather addictive...
5dimes (us gamblers) Pinacle (any other country) Matchbook US players arent allowed at Piny. 5dimes is great. Matchbook is an exchange but they have the BEST line for a US gambler. 5dimes lines arent that off from Matchbook.
I bet on www.betcris.com because they are a block away from my house! I never have any problems with them! Thats the only site I use!
I use sportsbook.com but I haven't been using it for very long. I see on the sportsbookreview page it has a D-...
A friend of mine showed me a new site called MLS-bet.com. It still looks a bit messy, but it could be something worth following.
Nope not at all. It has never been legal to bet on sports online (according to the DOJ). Of the sites that are remaining in the US, be very weary of them. They can easily close up shop and your money is gone. Some of the sites are under indictment and it's getting harder and harder to move money back and forth. Stay away at this point in time.
