I just got SimCity 4 for my PC, and the first order of business for SimGoodsport (mayor and creator of Goodsportville) is to build a soccer-specific stadium in the city, regardless of how many Simoleans it will cost (although I suspect it won't actually be as expensive as stadium detractors such as Simspejic will try to make it appear).       Afterwards, SimGoodsport will be able to lure the Earthquakes to play their home games to capacity crowds at brand new 'Goodsport Stadium at Goodsportville'.       The SimCasbah will chant away while SimSpartacus announces, and through it all the concessions will be selling SimBeer to SimBeerking and SimNachos to SimLindsey.       In any case, it is now up to you, the current and potential SimSeason-ticket holders, to choose what the team shall be known as.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! I would think it would be more of a beat down. I mean, the GoodsportCitizens are all older than dirt, right? How can they put up a fight with their walkers?
what Goodsportville needs is to grow into a huge megalopolis (aaaah old simcity terms) so that it can support several teams and then have more of a chance of getting its teams into the SimNations Champions League.
