What pro's do you see on t.v. and say "hey man that is the same type of style as my game"?
(although they are much better at that style, thats why they are getting paid the big bucks)

I would have to say I play a very similar style to Paul Scholes or Totti right behind the two strikers with a lot of passing, and shooting from 12 yards or further out.

Every now and then I will drop to sweeper but I play a very midfeilder style sweeper role with short passing and forward runs as well.

Tell us who you model your playing after!!!!!!

I absolutely loved Vialli's game before he shaved his head :)

    He was a fantastic player.

Definitely Del Piero and Roberto Baggio, mainly coz of my Italian heritage and the fact I'm virtually their exact size (1.73m) and weight (73kg), plus I play as a forward who often drops back as they do.

I don't have the strength/bulk of a Vieri or pace of an Henry therefore I have to rely on skill and smart play like to play as a forward...like Baggio and Del Piero...just wish I had their fitness and muscle levels!

In my better days like Ronaldo, and in my worse days like Zidane! :D Actually there's a little bit truth in that, because what makes me different like these two is that I like to do a lot of surprize moves - that nobody expect. Like when I'm in Ronaldo mode, dribble past the whole field of opponents and then score by stabbing the ball with my to from virtually 0 degrees on the goal-line. And when I'm in Zidane mode, I like to make a lot of unexpected passes, that I'm really good at. Or have a shot at target at the most unexpected moment.

Ah yeh forgot to mention, Richie, I'm a big Vialli fan too seeing as though he had some good season with Juventus too but one thing I'll never forgive him for is how ************ he played for Italy in WC 1990, his ************ play combined with the coaches faith in his crap play meant Baggio sat on the bench as italy fizzled against Argentina in the semi's...:(

Though I still remember he did perform a marvellous
fake-run-cross maneuver at pace which lead to Schillaci scoring a goal against Austria.

I know this has deviated from the topic but had to say it anywayz...

I really don't know. I'm not like anyone. I'm not that good because I'm not very fast. I'd like to be like Steven Gerrard though. He's one of my favorite midfielders. I listened to England play on Pay Per view today. I didn't order so the screen was all fuzzy but the audio was perfect so I listened while I did homework. Better then following a match tracker at soccernet.

I would say Beckham. I have a pretty powerful shot, good free kicks, and I play alot of long balls for assists.

I'd say either Keano or Stevie G. I like the crunching tackles and play hardnosed the entire 90 minutes...also rely heavily on my fitness which is one of my biggest assets. I also take pride in my passing ability and play good long balls.

Maybe not Roy of the Rovers.

Maybe Danny Pena - I'm not too fast but pretty strong in the tackle. Occasionally a cross ricochets off me and into the net. I, of course, pretend that I did it on purpose. And I have a long memory when it comes to grudges. Which reminds me, if I ever see that Emenalo cat again...

    I loved Danny Pena.

Are you as stylish as him when it comes to boot color and hair cuts though, thats the the real question? :)

(This was posted as a joke about Beckham not Ben16, no need for anyone to get all bent out of shape about it.)

Roy Keane - a little of the bad attitude with some soccer skill.

Beckham doesn't do this. He plays alot of crosses, but not long balls.

If a pro player played like I do, he wouldn't be one for long. But then, I'm old, slow, out of shape, and lack touch.

Well...I do play alot of crosses as well.

As far as style goes, I have longish hair and Puma Kings, about as plain as can be. However, I am getting Manias next season and I am British.

I play a bit like Sanneh or Reyna, in that I like to defend but when I get the ball I'm not afraid to dribble. I love to go on the offense nearly every time we have possession, because most of the time I can make it back to defend also.

Other than that, though, I have no idea. I like to dribble into space and get a guy or two on me, which opens up teammates for passes.

I suck, though, so it doesn't really matter. =D

As i've got older, I have became a different style of player. When I played kids football (U16) I was like gascoigne. Then I went into a kinda headless chicken type player like kinkladze and now I would say I am probably like Ronaldinho if played upfront and like Denilson if played in midfield.

hmmmmmmm, probably....ronaldhino......I have lots of dribbling moves and quick feet, while I can thread very difficult passes through the d......

I get a kick out of blowing by defenders and looking back to see their face......lol

I've changed quite a bit over the last few years. Through most of high school I played a lot like Sheringham, dribbling a lot and frequently drifting out to the wings. Now I'm more like Earnie Stewart - I do a lot of poaching from outside the box - though I'm not nearly as fast.

I try to model my play after David Beckham because i'm a good passer and am good with corners. But I try to model myself after Carlos Bocanegra when i play in the back for my high school team
