Did mummy hold you too much as a child?

    ********witt.

I find it hilarious that United can accuse anyone of buying the title EVER.

    Buyin the title-
Right: Fergie took over in 1986 From that time we were still ********in Shite and won nowt untill 1990 where we just about Scraped a F.a cup win- 1991 went to rotterdam and won the cup winners cup and with pracically the same team won Premiership in 92/93 one or 2 additions and then the sale in 95 - Kancheski, ince and sparky and who replaced them???? Becks butty scholes Nevilles etc giggs had been on scene already (All home grown) . Only Big major signin was keane in 93.
After winnin the league consistently of course United could buy the best- But there was never a whole influx ala chelsea - One off signings stam, Teddy ony (5 mill) rio veron ruud etc . How was this buyin title?? This was just consistently Improving a great side with even greater players Compare this to chelsea who go out and buy two players for each position and inflate the transfer market by buyin over the top prices for average players.

    Rant over

Why don't you ask someone who's been "supporting" United for more than 10 months?

ManUre, at my school you either supported Stoke or Man U. And for some strange reason the Man U fans used to gloat at being the better side.

You're implying that I havent been following Man Utd for more than a year. I see. If that was the case, then I guess I wouldn't be following United, I'd be following the winning team right now (Chelsea). Don't post something unless it's knowledgable. Just because I joined BigSoccer in January means jack shit. I've been supporting my team longer then BS has been around.

Ah yes that was a good way not to start an arguement you moron.

    3rd is a lot like 2nd ... it's not 1st.

What's it like to have the pride of your treble FOREVER in the trophy cabinet of your most fierce and more succesful rivals ?

I would imagine that would be quite upsetting.

Yeah and lets face it they didn't spend a penny then or since. They're just a wonder club who got where they are on the power of dreams.

By the way who is Fergusons greatest inspiration in the game ?

    Oh yeah it's us.

You see, I know what it feels like to have my team finish 1st, you probably don't. I can actually remember the last time my team won the premiership. 'pool haven't even been in 1st in the premiership since its inception, which is quite funny when you think about it. The most successful club in English history no doubt. Anyone who denies that fact would be completley idiotic. But you bring up a good point when you mention the Treble. We've done it and you haven't. 3rd is a lot like 4th, not 2nd. When you're in 2nd you actually have a chance at the title. When you're in 3rd it means you're 5 points back of second having played a game more.

of course they did. thats my point. they almost got relegated with all those good players. then they turned it around. nobody can dominate a whole decade through money. you don't buy an era! it takes good management besides other things. and they weren't run by billionaires.
you sound like a typical scouse.. thick, bitter and...... thick again

    You TWAT.

EDIT: P.S. We already know from previous posts of yours that you are about 17, which means you've been "supporting" United for, surprise surprise, the duration of their most effective period in history. And from Canada, too.

    You gloryhunting TWAT.

Yeah that's another clever way to look at it. Let's all forget that Man United spent more on individual players than the multi millionaires at Chelski. Let's forget that when United were buying there players no one else in England could even come close to competing in the transfer market.

Especially of late lets forget how much they spent on RVN, Rio, Rooney, Ronaldo etc.

Let's forget that they FAILED to win the title when they spent ridiculously on players like Veron.

What Chelski have done is ridiculous but put into context it is no more ridiculous than what United have been able to do for nearly a decade.

Oh, you've done it now - we're going to have to sit through that dreary bollocks about how United never spent as much as the rest of the world combined in any given year during the 1990's. The "ManYoo" fans are like a fat kid with a cream cake with that little nugget at the moment, they can't let it go. Even though most of the figures for the other clubs they use as benchmarks are hysterically out.

I suggest we leave this thread to it until they're done. It's beyond boring now.
