My passport still says Bosnia but you tried. And beauty? Sit down. The only beauty in those poor parts of Bosnia are from people like my parents who build beautiful houses and donate to fixing roads.
RS is far lagging behind the Federacija in every area of society according to the BiH Household Budget Survey. http://www.fzs.ba/Anketa/Publikacija hbs07 Eng final.pdf http://www.irbrs.net/Statistika.aspx?tab=2&lang=eng An independent RS is nothing but a seljak's pipe dream. I was born in Zagreb, but my moms family is from Priboj, Sandzak, and my dads side is from Tesanjka, BiH.
My sister for example is born in Split because my father was a officer in the JNA army before Yugo fell apart. He was stationed in Croatia at the time when my sister was born.
Mom moved to Tesanj for school, met my dad. They got married, and my mom left for Germany, but I was born in Zagreb. My dad stayed and fought in BiH until the end of the war.
You guys should stop with the name calling. It is unnecessary. It does nothing. Stop being so butthurt.
Pictures of tata during his police/army days ;p Hes the one in the middle. This was during the Olympics in Sarajevo '84. I forgot whose funeral this was. But it was during '89, My dad and some other selected few were chosen to walk around Yugoslavia in his honor. I think it was an anniversary or something don't really remember. (My dad far left. then 2nd to the right in 2nd pic) Ceremony was in Beograd, They started at Beograd went to Sarajevo then to Zagreb and back to Beograd. Ill see if i can find any more pictures or interesting things.
Should've heard the stories he told me when he was a cop. He wouldn't arrest criminals for petty crimes like robbing or assault or anything small. He told me he would just beat them up until they promise him to never do it again. I thought it was ********ed up but he told me it was different back then and when someone gives you their word they never go back on it. He got a black belt in Karate around the age of 21? I'll try to find the photo. Dude was an asshole cop haha
Better to get beat up than to get arrested LOL My dad might've been one of the guys your dad encountered LMAO. He ran into quite a few cops while doing underground currency business in Sarajevo. He's been wiped clean since though.
He said something like "They learn their lesson more by a beating then being in a cell" They feared the name Torlak
