The World Cup is over, consigned to memory, and as footy fans we look forward to the next game. My next game will be: Torquay United vs Welling, Football Conference, Plainmoor, August 12th From the World Cup Final to Torquay´s first home game in the Conference - some transition, but I will be much more concerned with the result than I was yesterday Also just found out today that the Scottish FA have confirmed that they will be playing a friendly - yeah right - against England at Celtic Park, four days after the Scotland/Ireland Euro 2016 qualifier at the same ground. I know where I´ll be spending the third week of November, Glasgow´s a cracking city. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28291102 Where are you going next????
Been to 4 football matches here in Ireland since I came back. 2 as a neutral and my club's 2 games (limerick's 2 defeats). 6 Republic of Ireland games (3 home and 3 away) in the autumn including Germany in Gelsenkirchen. Also planning a short trip to the African Cup of Nations in January. Will also go to France in 2016 whether we qualify or not.
Wednesday (July, 16th) the Brazilian Championship is back. Unfortunatelly the next Flamengo game will be played in Macaé (a city almost 200km from Rio de Janeiro), so my next game will be Flamengo x Botafogo, at Maracanã, on July, 27th! Let`s go Flamengo!!!
Back to anfield for liverpool games starting with Southampton on opening weekend. Am looking into chile 2015. France 2016 is a no brainer.
World Cup was simple gobbled down!!! Kkk it passed too fast. All we have in Brazil now is the dullest national championship and Libertadores da Américas with NO brazilian teans joined... Looking forward to Copa America in Chile next year.
Cambridge United's return, after 9 years, to the Football League against Plymouth at the Abbey in August. Then Portsmouth away. Hard to believe that the Brasileirao is back in action so soon. I remember watching Sao Paulo play a friendly at, I think, Orlando on the TV whilst the World Cup was on. Interesting little ground but it was so strange to me to see club football of any sort during the World Cup.
Looking forward to going to See Liverpool and the return of Champions league at Anfield. See you at the Southampton match Ash.
Making the trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia for the 2nd leg of Peñarol vs Wilstermann @estadio Felix Capriles for Copa Sudamericana in August.
Any chance of a spare for Celtic Park? I know how difficult that ticket will be, but if you do gear of one I would love it. I was born in Dublin, Howth, folks moved to London when I was seven. Have probably seen as many Ireland internationals as England games. One of the few that find cheering for both absolutely no problem. And still carry an Irish passport. Was one of the games the 2-1 to Bohs?
Wasn't it to do with Kaka signing for Orlando but being instantly loaned to Sao Paulo? Orlando won't be in the MLS until 2015.
Liverpool v Man City on 30 July. I must say it is difficult to get excited about it though. Basically just an excuse to drink.
A person from the city of São Paulo is "paulistano", dont matter the club you support. A person that supports São Paulo Futebol Clube is a "sãopaulino" dont matter the city you come from
For anybody still in Rio tonight Flamengo vs. Atlético PR Estádio Claúdio Moacir de Azevedo (Macaé, Rio de Janeiro)
