I have a lot of adjectives to describe Jim Jarmusch films. "Fun" is rarely one of them. I will have to check it out. I managed to see the Stooges when they played at The Riveria a few years ago. Excellent show.
The first episode dropped and I am immediately concerned because this is the first time I've gone from reading a manga, to seeing it announced for an anime, and then seeing the anime itself. Obviously in any adaptation there's going to be changes. We'll see how it goes. However, I was right in assuming that the band they got would absolutely kill it with the OP:
Speaking of great OPs, I'm watching Dororo to Hyakkimaru from 1969 and I cannot get the theme out of my head. It is amazing.
There is a new definition of "amazing," it seems. I just do not get Manga or anime. Me, too. Yes, it has been around a long time (since Jiggs' post is from 1969), but it never appealed to me.
