Forever Pure. A 2013 documentary on Beitar Jerusalem and the addition of two Arab players. It was on the list of soccer movies from MLS newsletter. Some I have seen. I was surprised Sixty Six was not on the list. Comprehensive List of Soccer Movies
Watched Spirited Away last night The dad is by far my most hated character in anime (Until the "stabby boi" arc in Domestic na Kanojo gets an adaptaion). The guy blatantly goes down a road that clearly won't lead to a residential neighborhood, he tells everyone that he wants to "explore" when they clearly should get their stuff home first and then possibly come back, and then he's the one encouraging his family to eat the mysterious food that ends up turning them into pigs. He is the true villain of the story.
So I thought the first Hobbit movie was decent fun. The second one was OK at best. The third? I couldn’t finish. So I’m trying a second time. These are dark days.
Wait no there was a dragon in those films right? And the dude that wasn't a pirate but, wanted to marry Keira Knightley right?
There is a Too Cute! marathon on Animal Planet. Society is temporarily collapsing, but puppies make things better for a while.
Gonna try watching The English Game. It's a period piece about the creation of soccer. I'm absolutely into that. Maybe the whole family can watch, @willydonc?
I don't think we're watching the same movie. I remember it being a bunch of people disillusioned with modern society seeking an outlet for their frustrations and a charasmatic crazy person leading them astray
started it last night and it's pretty fun. So far I'm especially fond of the notion that a Scot had to come south to teach the brutish english players about spacing and passing.
did you miss the part where ineffectual Ikea shopping guy becomes badass gang leader by living in filth, hanging out with dudes, and getting in fights; only to discover his newfound manliness and freedom leads to the complete destruction of his surroundings and self?
My dad and I found out that the creation of the Gegenpress wasn't from Germany, but from Canada. It was originally just a forecheck.
