This is the final of my nightmares. Of course this means I'm more likely to watch it than any other MLS final that doesn't include DC United. I'm sure "The Don" wanted it this way especially since Miami shit the bed.
I am sorry for your losses. I hope the gods take pity on at least some of us and let the gals defeat the infinite evil of the metros.
Puig out of the final due to ACL tear. He played 30 minutes with it Saturday and made the game winning assist.
I basically stopped watching when DC failed to qualify yet again. I won't watch again until next season. I have season seats to LAFC so I go in person.
Fox would probably get better ratings with a rerun of Gilligan's Island. This seeming non-sequitur brought to you by Killian from "The Running Man."
Pretty good. I have tickets for my son and me so if he is happy, I am happy. I usually watch DC lose before heading to the LAFC match but Benteke has been a joy to watch even if the net benefit for the team as a whole is negligible.
The Athletic has this headline for an article by Maurer: I started to chuckle, then saw my reflection in the phone....
Well, my favored outcome of a giant sinkhole swallowing both teams didn't occur, but I can rest peacefully tonight knowing that the Metros still haven't won MLS Cup.
My cynical prediction for MLS 2025. In 2024 Miami played at 3 western teams, LAG, SKC and VAN who are 3 of the 6 most tenured owners. I predict Miami will play at 3 of Colorado, FCD, San Jose or Portland.
