Philadelphia Eagles (I'm wearing a Donovan McNabb jersey as I type this), altho there are a couple of other teams I like to see do well--Miami, Oakland, SF. Teams I hate: Giants, Cowboys, Redskins, Rams, Bucs, Ravens, Jets.
Steelers! Steelers! Steelers! The only QB to win four Super Bowls calling his own plays (Bradshaw)... No other NFL head coach has won four Super Bowls with the same team (Noll)... No player on the 1979 team had ever played a down for any other team (you'll never see that again)... the Steel Curtain... the Terrible Towel... the logo on only one side of the helmet... the greatest receiving duo of all time (Lynn Swann and Alabama A&M alum John Stallworth)... 70s Steelers- the greatest dynasty of all time!!! Other teams I like: Oakland, Tennessee, Denver... don't really care one way or the other about Philly, but I want to see the overrated McNabb do well. I also always liked the Colts and Browns for joining the AFC from the old NFL. Teams I hate: Redskins, Patriots, Niners, Cowboys.
Redskins John Riggins running muthas over like bowling pins brings back good memories. Great to have Joe Gibbs back in town to restore a little law and order. teams I hate... Cowboys Cowboys Cowboys
the hapless Bolts The Vikings are second. I hate San Francisco, Denver, Green Bay, Oakland, Washington,
Huge Steelers fan, I live and die with them. I also heart the local Detroit Lions, although I only die with them.
I'm a Rams fan. Have been since I was in high school back in the '60s. Today is not such a good day for us.
I grew up in New Hampshire, so definately the Pats. I remember those 1-15 and 3-13 seasons. Of course, those memories make this recent run of a Super Bowl championship and the AFC title game this year much sweeter. Fair weather fans would never understand it.
Been a Panthers fan since the day the NFL awarded the franchise to Charlotte. I still like th 49ers though, will always hate the Cowboys and the Redskins.
Chargers fan here, too. Chargers and Padres. All my life... hey, it's the journey not the destination. Lived in SF for 5 years in my early 20's, so I like the 49ers and Giants (baseball) a little bit, too... Obviously hate the Raiders and Dodgers.
See the avatar. If the Pats aren't doing well, teams I don't mind seeing succeed: Packers, Eagles, Team Vick, Texans. Teams I cannot stand: Dolphins more than anyone, Jets, Ravens, Broncos.
I am originally from NYC, but have no feeling for NY Giants or the Jets. I actually grew up in San Francisco so the Niners are my team. I also spent some time in New England. The Pats became my team in the AFC, but I also support the Raiders due to their Bay Area connection. I am not so into AFC anyway. Of course, I support any team who plays against the Dallas cowboys.
I only moved to the USA a couple of years ago and living in Indianapolis there's only one team I could support. Its been interesting to watch the team steadily improve over the 3 seasons I've been here. Some might call me a "jumping on the band wagon" fan this year and I suppose thats true but can you really blame me?
Packers will always be number 1, I'm one of the foolish people that bought one of those stocks, just so I could call myself an "owner", second the Texans.
Born a Broncos fan, probably always will be. Nice when they finally won a couple of Super Bowls though, now that I live in New England, I can definitely relate to all the long suffering Red Sox fans. Tough playoff game to watch this year, ugh... That was comparable to some of the Super Bowl debacles (Redskins and SF particularly) where the team (and the defense) disappeared. I've always liked the Steelers since I was a kid, and for a while, they had 4-5 Colorado alumni on the team too, so I was familiar with them. Whenever they are in the mix and the Broncos are out, I root for them. The Pats have a couple of Colorado players as well (Fauria, Ted Johnson, Dan Graham and Tom Ashworth) so now that I live here, it's easier to root for them. Hate: Raiders Hate less: Chiefs, Cowboys
Steelers. I've been a fan since I learned what football was. Which means I've been a fan since I was about 6 or 7, so we're talking since about 1968 or 1969. Teams I hate - Ravens (Browns version 1.0), Browns (Browns version 2.0), Bengals, Titans (Oilers version 1.0), Raiders, Broncos. The only NFC team I really hate is the Cowboys.
Ah, a fellow TMQ reader, eh? You know it's on NFL.com now? It took me a while to find it after ESPN canned Gregg Easterbrook...
