What is the cost for an expansion team?

    I'm curious.....does anyone know what the cost for an MLS expansion team is? Thanks

    Well, if you mean the expansion fee a new team would have to pay to MLS to join, Don Garber was quoted a couple of weeks ago as saying it would be $10.

    Price must be going down, MLS had always said $20,000,000.00 unles you're willing to build an appropriate SSS in which case the $20,000,000.00 could be used towards that. I'm a couple thousand short or I'd do it tomorrow.

    The low expansion fee means:

    A) They are now really desperate.
    or
    B) They shot themsleves in the foot for originally setting it at $20 Million.
