    South Carolina #10 at 7-1
    Clemson #20 at 7-0-1

    Why you say?
Clemson beat USCe head to head 1-0.
It was no fluke because CU dominated shots 11-4 and SOG 5-2.
Their only blemish was a 1-1 tie with Oregon in which they dominated
    shots 25-5 and SOG 5-1.
Their schedule has not been killer, but they've beaten USCe, UGA, Neb. and Utah.
    Very respectable.
I think United Soccer coaches' poll had them much higher.
Generally those 2 polls are much more similar.

I know it's not a big deal, but I'm bored. No game for FSU until Thursday against,
    you guessed it, Clemson.

Clemson is looking good right now, and they are near the top of the current RPI rankings. TDS, however, may be thinking about where they and South Carolina will be at the end of the season, after they have completed conference play. If that's where TDS is coming from, I don't think their rankings are unreasonable. Check at the end of the season and see. (Not that I'm a fan of TDS.) Massey currently has Clemson at #8 and South Carolina at #9.

In any event, teams simply haven't played enough games yet to make accurate judgments. Of course, they won't have played enough by the end of the regular season, either.
