After the £30m sale of Andriy Shevchenko, how are the profits and available funds for off season acquisitions? If this thread/post belongs in the transfer thread, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks.
Milan doesn't make enough for profit, its a privately owned enterprise that is funded by a very rich man. In terms of revenue Milan isn't even in the top 5 I don't think, but in terms of assets and the economic backing of ownership they're no poorer than Chelsea.
I thought they just had for this year like a 12 million euro profit or something? milan gets a lot of tv revenue and the gates and all, plus of course, selling and loaning off youth players and other assets, and they aren't really run like chelsea per say. I might be incorrect, though.
Unless you know someone who works in Milan's accounting department it's hard to get any info about the financial status of the club. Forbes have some info about the net income in the following link from 2006. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2006/34/Income_1.html Nothing about this year yet.
