Assuming they'll still be in LA...would it be bad news for the Galaxy because the Beckhams might steal their thunder?
No doubt referring to the snub they got when the store worker wouldn't close the shop just for them so they could shop in private because he didn't know who they were. LOL It'll be mildly interesting if Becks shows up to the game.
I loved it. The guy didn't have a clue who they were. I can see it now. "You want me to clear the store for some famous people I've never heard of? How famous can a soccer player be?"
STORE CLOSING? Is closing a store for a very rich client a common practice of high-end clothing stores in the USA? I hope not, it sounds rather European.
Re: STORE CLOSING? No, and the shoe store owner in LA pointed that out to Posh and Becks but finally gave in. He said something like " I get Britney Spears in here all the time and we don't close for her." If the high end retailers on the west side in LA closed for every celeb they would be closed half the time.
Here's the full scoop on the store thingy. http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30500-12336486,00.html
Re: Re: STORE CLOSING? Actually its very common in NY and LA. It is mostly reserved for very high profile celebs that call in advance (or whose assistants call in advance). Stores usually make out very well on the deal as a lot of money is spent.
Re: Re: Re: STORE CLOSING? Well not common but it happens for a few sometimes and depending on the store. In some areas like Beverly Hills and other "high end" areas it is very very rare. There are parts of Malibu were most of the residents are in show biz such as the Malibu Colony. The boutiques near there, for example, don't shut the doors for anyone.
