Also, there are realistically six channel options for television (from three network companies), for these two matches against Germany. I just don't see how they won't be picked up for television. When was the last time the U.S. women played a FIFA team in the Top 3 (let alone #2) on U.S. home soil, and it was not televised? They played Germany at home in the U.S. in 2010, and it was on ESPN-2.

    ESPN-2
    ESPN-3 (online channel)
    Fox Soccer
    NBC (regular NBC)
    NBC Sports Network
    Universal Sports (owned by NBC)

    So many options.

Assuming that the new US coach will take over after the Australia games, can they experiment with new players after the minimum eight game limit for the Olympic squad? What I mean is that can the new coach tell someone like Mitts or Boxx that they've already taken part in 8 games thus far fulfilling their contractual agreement, so now they're open to choosing other players for the next 3 or 4 more games?

The tour will go through the end of the year, and can be up to 10 games per the players contracts, including at least another 3 games in late Nov.

In the past at least some of the games have had outside promoters who expressed a desire to have the Olympic or WC roster, not new players...
