    Pigs Eye (St. Paul),
The USA Men's National Team Members from MLS all seem to be in a funk. Clint Mathis, Landon Donovan, Eddie Pope, Brian McBride, Tony Meola, Chris Armas, Josh Wolff, Cobi Jones, Carlos Llamosa, Pablo Mastroeni, DaMarcus Beasley... nobody seems to be burning up the league like last year. This doesn't auger well for the Nats if it continues. What happenned? Will others step up from MLS in the future? Has MLS improved that much that these players don't dominate any more? Are they all worn out from the World Cup? I'd like to hear some answers.

Well, Wolff and Armas are hurt...but Donovan and Pope both scored goals last week, and Jones looked pretty good for the Galaxy, and I believe had a 2 goal game recently. Llamosa has nagging injuries, but Mastro's Rapids are looking good as of late, I think. I am sure he is part of the reason.

Don't forget, Meola became the first MLS GK to block two PK's in one game.
