What effect (if any) has the WUSA on MLS attendance?

    There are some markets that both WUSA and MLS shared like SJ, DC, NY, and Boston. Did the dismise of the WUSA has any effect on MLS? Positively or Negatively?

    Do fans of WUSA attend MLS matches now that their league was gone? etc...

    I don't think it had any effect at all. I do think the big euro club summer tours hurt. I would lke to see MLS adopt a WNBA approach and play the women's game before of after the men's match just to keep people at the stadiums to make a day of it for fans. The 2 hours is too short for me when I have to drive over 2 hours to get to the swamp.

    Yeah, I can agree with that. Make em' doubleheaders with the MLS if the women's leagure comes back.
